Akintade Oyedele DARE, is a Professor in the Department of Radiography, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, University of Ilorin since July 2017, having transferred from Bayero University Kano where he was a Professor and Head of Radiography since January 2010.

Prior to his appointment by Bayero University Kano, he was a Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Director of Diagnostic Radiology at the College of Dental Medicine in Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. He has more than three decade university teaching, research, and administrative experience since 1987.

He has served as Head of Department, Member of University Library & Publications Committee, and the Admissions Committee including College & Faculty responsibilities. He was pioneer Provost of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Baze University, Abuja, Nigeria on leave of absence from Ilorin. He has contributed to the scholarship in Radiography and Oral Maxillofacial Radiology in various Universities in Nigeria.
